Vijay decided to take the help of the local of Bhuj to rebuild the airstrip. To help Indian Army, Vijay convinced 300 local women of village Madhapur. Due to the bombing by opponents, it became more difficult to rebuild the airstrip.
Although, Vijay and along with the other 2 senior officers, tried to make the airstrip operational. Finally, due to the efforts of Vijay and 300 women airstrip got restored within 72 hours. Later, the War was successfully ended. Then, the whole operation of rebuilding the airstrip was named Pearl Harbour Moment of India. Later, PM appreciated the efforts of all 300 women. And, they were awarded a group award of Rs 50,000 by the government.
