Troy Polamalu was born Troy Benjamin Aumua on April 19, 1981. Currently, he is 42 years old. His surname at birth was Aumua.

Troy petitioned in 2007 to change his legal surname to his mother’s maiden name Polamalu. He is originally from Garden Grove, California, USA.

His mother’s name is Suila Polamalu. Troy is the youngest of five children, brother Sakio Aumua, and three sisters Tria Aumua, Sheila Aumua, and Lupe Aumua.
