Taylor Sheridan is a popular American filmmaker and actor. Taylor Sheridan is best known for his portrayal of Danny Boyd in Veronica Mars (2005–2007) and David Hale in the FX television series Sons of Anarchy.

Taylor Sheridan was born Sheridan Taylor Gibler Jr. on May 21, 1970, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, U.S. His age is currently 52 years old. He was born to his father Colin Smith, a cardiologist, and his mother Marilyn Smith.

He also has a sibling brother named John Gibler who is a popular American journalist. Likewise, he holds American nationality but his ethnicity is unknown. His mother, who was born in Waco and adored spending time at her grandparents’ ranch there, is the source of his cowboy character.

Sheridan’s mother insisted on purchasing a ranch in Cranfills Gap when he was eight years old so that her kids could “learn firsthand about the peaceful feeling of freedom in nature.” Sheridan grew up in the late 1980s and spent a lot of time with his family at the Cranfills Gap ranch where he learned how to be a rancher.

Sheridan left Texas State University and relocated to Austin, where he painted homes and mowed lawns. It centers on FBI agent Kate Macer (Emily Blunt), who joins a government task force to take down the boss of a powerful and violent Mexican drug cartel. Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin both appeared in it. The movie received positive reviews, a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and several nominations, including one for Sheridan for the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay.
