Sooraj Pancholi – Career and Professional Life
Professionally, Sooraj Pancholi is a famous actor in the Bollywood film industry. He predominantly appears in Hindi-language films.
Moreover, Sooraj’s debut film is the 2015’s, romantic-action film – Hero. For playing the role of Suraj Kaushik in the aforementioned film, Sooraj won a Filmfare award for “Best Newcomer” in 2016. His role also won him the “Best Jodi (Pair) Of The Year” at the 2015 Stardust Awards. Sooraj received this award with his co-star Athiya Shetty.
Besides acting, Sooraj also worked as an assistant director on various films. Some of such films are Guzaarish and Ek Tha Tiger. The aforementioned films were released in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

Sooraj Pancholi – Relationship Status and Controversy
Sooraj Pancholi is single and not involved in any romantic relationships at present. Previously, the Bollywood actor was in a romantic relationship with actress Jiah Khan in the year 2013. Sadly, his lover committed suicide in June of the same year. His lover mentioned in her suicide note that their strained relationship was the reason why she committed suicide.
Based on this suicide note, the authorities arrested Sooraj and interviewed him on 10 June 2013. It was because the authorities suspected that Sooraj had aided Jiah’s suicide. Then in the year 2018, the authorities formally charged Sooraj with assisting Jiah’s suicide.
Sooraj’s criminal case was expected to begin in March 2018. However, his case had not even begun as of November 2019. The actor attributes this delay to late Jiah’s mother’s refusal to proceed. The young actor has continuously denied his involvement in his late lover’s demise and described himself as a scapegoat for the late actress’s decision to end her life.
