In December 2015, she made her ring debut in a fight against Nia Jax at an NXT live event. On November 20, 2017, Sonya made her RAW debut with Mandy Rose and Paige. They destroy the women’s division in that episode and expose Absolution the next week. Her first broadcast match was on December 19, when the Absolution defeated Bayley, Mickie James, and Sasha Banks in Tribute to the Troops.

She competed in the Royal Rumble and placed 10th. She was also a competitor in the first women’s Elimination Chamber match. When Paige was forced to retire in April 2018 due to medical issues relating to her neck injury and surgery, she was promoted to SmackDown general manager. In the 2018 Superstar Shake-up, Mandy and Sonya get recruited from Raw to SmackDown.

Throughout the summer, she and Mandy remained on a tag team and performed in a variety of singles and tag team events. On October 28, she competed in a battle royal match at WWE Evolution, the first-ever all-pay-per-view, women’s where she was eliminated by Mandy. Sonya reveals as a member of Team Smackdown for the next Survivor Series traditional five-on-five elimination contest in November. She was one of the final two women on the team alongside Asuka in her first appearance, however, she was eliminated through count-out following a fight outside the ring with Bayley.

Royal Rumble

She competed in her second Royal Rumble match on January 27, 2019, when she entered at number 25 and lasted 04:26 until being eliminated by Alexa Bliss. Sonya and Mandy were the final teams eliminated by eventual champions Sasha Banks and Bayley in a six-team Elimination Chamber match for the first WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on February 17 at the namesake pay-per-view.

Following Mandy’s love triangle with Otis and Dolph Ziggler in 2020, it was revealed on SmackDown on April 3 that Sonya was working with Ziggler to keep Otis away from Mandy. She later followed Ziggler to his WrestleMania 36 match against Otis on April 5, where she was attacked by Mandy, who had associated herself with Otis. Sonya later confronted Mandy, accusing her of being selfish and attempting to “ruin Rose’s life.” She and Ziggler beat Otis and Mandy in a tag team match on SmackDown on May 22.

As an actress

She also played as a lead actress in the 2013 crime drama film The Honour. She also starred in the 2012 television program Tattoo Nightmares.
