Ryan and Sean Fujiyoshi started posting YouTube videos of themselves lip-syncing to songs in mid-2006 while attending Waiakea High School. They soon expanded beyond songs, with a diversity of other comedic pieces.
On Christmas Eve of 2008, their two most popular videos “How To Be Gangster,” and “How To Be Emo,” were removed due to copyright violations. On January 21, 2009, his account was temporarily suspended, and required to remove more copyrighted videos. Because of this, his lip-syncing videos were all removed. BgA
In 2016, Ryan Ryan formed a K-pop band along with David Choi, Phillip Wang, Jun Sung Ahn, and Justin Chon. The K-pop band named BgA stands for Boys Generally Asian. The following band was created consciously to inspire the all-female band Girls Generation. They released their first song named “Dong Saya Dae”, which currently has over 16 million views on YouTube.
Their song was considered a usual parody of all K-pop songs and highlighted joke lyrics. Despite this, the song surprisingly peaked at no. 2 on the official K-pop charts for iTunes. Similarly, BgA released its second song “Who’s It Gonna Be” in 2017 which was a more serious song than the first alongside the equal base of being a parody. As an actor, he has played in several movies as well as television programs. In 2008, he was offered for first feature-length film resulting in Ryan and Sean’s Not So Excellent Adventure. The film was shown in sold-out theaters in Hawaii and California. The DVD was published on July 14, 2009, in the United States.
