Park Seo-joon’s breakout roles came in the year 2015. It was with the dramas Kill Me, Heal Me and She Was Pretty. For both these projects, he worked alongside actress Hwang Jung-eum in the lead roles.

The same year, Seo-joon also featured in the thriller film The Chronicles of Evil. In the year 2016, he starred in the youth historical drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.

 For this project, Seo-joon worked alongside Go Ara and Park Hyung-sik. Other actors in the lead roles in this project were Choi Min-ho, Do Ji-han, Jo Yoon-woo, and Kim Tae-hyung among others.

Additionally, he found immense success in the 2017 youth romance drama Fight for My Way. He worked with actress Kim Ji-won in the lead roles. Likewise, the TV series was a major hit in South Korea and topped ratings in its time slot.

The same year, Seo-joon played his first big-screen leading role in the action-comedy Midnight Runners.

2018 Onwards

Similarly, in tvN’s 2018 romantic-comedy-drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, actor Seo-joon starred alongside the prominent actress Park Min-young.

This series was a hit and Seo-joon received positive reviews. For his performance in this drama, the Korean press dubbed Seo-joon the “master of the romantic comedy”.

Then in 2019, the actor starred in the occult film The Divine Fury and also served as the special juror for the Asiana International Short Film Festival.

Seo-joon also made a guest appearance in the Oscar-winning movie Parasite the same year.

In the year 2020, Park Seo-joon starred in JTBC’s drama Itaewon Class. His role in this drama was that of a restaurant owner. This drama is based on the webtoon of the same name.

The actor is also set to appear in the sports film Dream. His role in this film is a soccer player turned coach named Yoon Hong-Dae. The director of this film is Lee Byeong-heon.
