Late Neal Casal was a famous American Guitarist, Singer, songwriter, and photographer. Neal Casal came to the limelight as the Lead Guitarist with Rickey Medlock’s Blackfoot from 1988 to 1993.

Early Life and Childhood

Neal Casal was born on 2nd November 1968 in Denville, United States. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He was born into a Caucasian family. Neal Casal – Professional Life

Neal started working as a solo demo artist from 1990 to 1993 at studios in Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey. While working, he met manager Gary Waldman and teamed up with him for future projects. Later, he signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappel Music.

Similarly, he signed with Zoo Entertainment and released his debut album Fade Away Diamond Time in September 1994. In 1996, he parted from Zoo Entertainment and recorded the new album Rain, Wind, and Speed with Buy or Die Records.

Furthermore, he signed for the Glitterhouse Records label in 1997 where he released five albums including Field Recordings and The Sun Rises Here. Similarly, he released the self-produced album Basement Dreams. The album was named Americana Album of the Year in Mojo magazine in 1998.

In 2000, he released his sixth solo album named Anytime Tomorrow. The album was the last album to be released by Glitterhouse in 2000. After that, he prompted an extensive European tour into early 2001.

Neal Casal co-wrote, produced, and released the EP Ran On Pure Lightning in 2002. In 2007, he released an album consisting of all of his live and unreleased songs named All Directions.
His tenth studio album, Sweeten the Distance, was released in November 2011 which was his last solo album.

Besides, as a photographer,  Abrams Image published his first book of photography named A View of Other Windows in 2010.

Collaboration

Throughout his career, he worked with several groups with Hazy Malaze, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and Hard Working Americans.

With Hazy Malaze, he worked for Hazy Malaze in 2003,  Blackout Love in 2004, and Connections in 2009. With Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, he worked for Easy Tiger in 2007, Follow the Lights in 2007, Cardiology in 2008, III/IV in 2010, and Class Mythology in 2011.

Similarly, With Chris Robinson Brotherhood he worked in  Big Moon Ritual in 2012, The Magic Door in 2012, Betty’s SF Blends Vol 1 in 2013, Phosphorescent Harvest in 2014, Try Rock N’ Roll, EP in 2014, Betty’s Blends Vol 2: Best from the West in 2015, Anyway, You Love, We Know How You Feel in 2016 If You Lived Here You Would Be Home by Now in 2016, Betty’s Blends Vol 3: Self Rising Southern Blends in 2017, Barefoot in the Head in 2017, Raven’s Reels Vol 1 in 2018, and Servants of the Sun in 2019.

He has earned a pretty handful amount of money from his career however, he never revealed his annual income or salary in the media ever.

Cause of death

Neal Casal passed away from this world on 26th August 2019 at the age of 50. He committed suicide in his residence. The sad news was confirmed from his account where the writer wrote that our brother Neal Casal had passed away. The gentle, introspective, deeply soulful human being will live forever in the hearts of his friends, family, and fans.
