Jones made his professional debut on July 28, July 2011 by signing a 4-year contract with the Falcons. In 2012 he helped his team earn the top seed in the NFC for the NFL playoffs with 13-3 records.
He wore the no.11 jersey for his entire career with the Falcons, but that number was taken in Tennessee by A.J Brown so Jones decided to make the switch to no.2.
He achieved a career-high with 189 receiving yards against the Arizona Cardinals on 10 receptions. On August 29, 2015, he extended his contract with the Falcons for more than five years.
