After retiring from competitive golf in 1994, Miller transitioned to a career as a television golf commentator. He worked for NBC Sports as a lead analyst for their golf coverage, providing insightful commentary and analysis during major golf tournaments, including the U.S. Open. His broadcasting career lasted for nearly three decades, with his last event as a commentator being the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open. He announced his retirement from broadcasting in February 2019.
