Career and Professional Life

Jodie Foster began her acting career at the age of three. She made her television debut in 1968, in an episode of Mayberry R.F.D., as a ”Coppertone girl” in a television advertisement.

She made guest appearances on ‘Gunsmoke,’ ‘Daniel Boone,’ and ‘The Courtship of Eddie’s Father’ in 1969.

The following year, she made her screen debut in Martin Scorsese’s television film ‘Menace on the Mountain.’

She featured in many Disney films as a child artist, including “One Little Indian” (1973) and “Napoleon and Samantha” (1972).
