After dropping out of school, he started a different business in china. He co-founded a software company, Atendy with Christopher Carmichael in Toronto. While living there he heard about the Vines and then he completely focuses on Vines. Jerome gained immense fame after his video Don’t Be Afraid of Love, posted on Vine, went viral. Then, six months after his Vine account he has 20,000 followers.

After starting many businesses in China and Canada, he started posting videos on Vine the day of its launch. Thereafter he resigned his business to completely focus on Vine. In May 2013, he co-founded GrapeStory. It is a talent agency for Vine and Snapchat stars.

Soon, Jerome was invited as a guest for one of the episodes of the talk show Ellen DeGeneres Show. His appearance on the show increased Jerome’s popularity by leaps and bounds and very soon, approximately 1 million people started following him on Vine. Now he has more than 8 million followers. Further, he is also the co-founder of the mobile-first marketing agency and production house Grape Story.

Jerome used to post different prank videos as well as launched the project like Human (Where he asked the stranger about most important they would like to send to people). He also made vines with several renowned celebrities, including actors like Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Ben Stiller, and others.

Later, along with Gary Vaynerchuk also founded a talent agency in May 2013. Besides this, he has also launched a campaign in which plastic bottles are used to light up the communities in the rural Philippines.

Recently, Jerome has launched the first big Love Army campaign. Using the hashtag #lovearmyforsomalia, he raised nearly $3 million on gofundme. Then, he launched a method called Live Stream Direct Cash Transfer in which the CEO of Dahabshiil was able to transfer the funds from his phone live. All of the 1000 beneficiaries received $1000, and the moment was captured via live stream.

He also uploaded a photo on October 4, 2017, sharing the news that Google made a donation of $500,000 to the movement #LoveArmyMexico!!! He also mentioned that they had raised over $1.3 Million for Mexico since the earthquake. They plan to use all of the money to rebuild over 100 houses and schools, for 3 different communities.

Jarre shared his proudness that Google put all their trust in him and his team to execute the mission. He ended the post by reminding that Love Army is and will always remain a people-powered movement. He also wanted people to be very careful about which company we let come close to our “missions”.

On October 1, 2018, Jerome clarified his reason behind leaving social media for 11 months. It was because social media was affecting his mental health and he needed to lose social media in order to stop living for it. He has been doing charity works and gathering funds to help rebuild communities after natural calamities.
