Janae Edmondson was born in the year 2006, in Smyrna, Tennessee, in the United States of America. As of now, she is 18 years old and holds American nationality. Janae Edmondson met with a horrific accident in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, 18th of February 2023. On that day, she traveled with her family for her volleyball tournament.
Janae met an accident when an unlicensed Audi driver ran through a yield sign and hit a car that flew in the air and hit her when she was present in St Louis. Immediately, she was sent to the hospital where she got first-class treatment and survived. Sadly, her both legs were cut off by doctors to save her life.
The club and Mid TN director Rhonda Ross established a GoFundMe page at gofundme.com/f/pray-for-Janae, which is also available from the club website (midtnvbc.com). A donation of more than $700,000 has been made.

According to police, the driver who was driving the Audi was 21-year-old Daniel Riley. His car speed was 45 mph in a 20 mph zone when he struck Janae. Meanwhile, Daniel has already faced criminal charges as he was out of prison on bail for a robbery case. In addition, he was in the car without a license. When police identified him Riley violated the terms of the GPS monitoring bracelet. Police arrested him on the spot and were sent under custody for several counts of assault, including second-degree assault.
