In the beginning, Erica became a weather forecaster while still in school. At State College, Pennsylvania, she dealt with the C-Net, a nearby channel. She joined the Local 12 Weather Authority later in October 2013, making it the largest climate organization in the Tri-State area.
After that, Collura relocated to Cincinnati from WHIO, where she spent more than three years working for various media outlets including computerized, printed, and radio. Erica still has two shows, one of which airs on STAR 64 at 10 PM and KRC at 4 PM.
