Following the 2018 NCAA Golf Championship, he turned professional. Talking about his professional career, he made his debut at the Memorial Tournament.

In that tournament, he shot 68-67-67-67 and completed a solo second to Nate Lashley, who ironically got into the field as an alternate after failing to secure his spot through the same qualifier.

Through this, he made his entry into the 2019 Open Championship and Special Temporary Membership on the PGA Tour for the rest of the season, after starting 2019 on the third-tier Mackenzie Tour.

Despite playing in only six PGA events during the 2018–19 season, his 400 nonmember points were just enough to win him a PGA Tour membership for the 2019–20 season.

He qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs in 2020, finishing 71st and almost missing out on the BMW Championship. He finished third in the Safeway Open in 2021.
