On the 8th of January 1999, in Rome, Italy, Damiano David was born. He is 25 years old as of 2024 and holds Italian nationality. In addition, he has the birth sign of Capricorn and follows Christianity by religion. Similarly, he belongs to a mixed ethnicity.

From the age of six years old, Damiano David started singing. After meeting with Victoria De Angelis and Thomas Raggi, they formed the band ‘Måneskin’ during his high school years.
The band was formed in 2016, and in its early years, they played as buskers in the streets of the city of Rome. But, the band soon rose to fame when they finished second in the eleventh season of the Italian talent show ‘X Factor.’

Damiano David is the frontman of the band. After that, the band debuted with the studio album ‘Il Ballo della Vita’ and tour in 2018 and 2019. The band released their second studio album ‘Teatro d’ira: Vol. I’m in the year 2021.
Moreover, he sang a cover version of the song “I Wanna Be Your Dog”, by the Stooges, as well as voicing the character of Jeffrey, the assistant of the main antagonist, for the Italian dub of the 2021 film Cruella.

Moreover, after winning the competition, Damiano was caught on a live video appearing to sniff something off the table. It made him a part of the media controversy. Fans and other people predict that he was taking drugs.
In addition, he was accused of taking drugs (cocaine) during the TV broadcast. However, the singer has asked to take a drug test and denied all the charges, the accusations were still there.
According to him, he bent over the table because one of the band members had broken glass on his feet. Moreover, the band’s Instagram post also stated that none of its members take drugs like cocaine and his drug test report also came back negative.
