His second book, ‘ Unfair Trade: The Truth Behind Big Business, Politics and Fair Trade, ‘ released in 2011. Conor was living in extreme situations in poor countries around Africa, Asia, and Central America to study for his second book. The book exposed the ugly truth behind those who shape the global economy. It was a huge success.

Where the titled ‘Sharks: Investigating the Criminal Heart of the Global City,’ the book was released in 2017 and discussed the criminal underbellies in places like Jerusalem, Mumbai, and Mexico City. Conor has written for many popular newspapers and magazines including ‘ The Guardian, ‘ ‘ Wanderlust, ‘ ‘ Conde Nast, ‘ ‘ TNT, ‘ and ‘ Wexas Traveller. ‘ In 2009 he began his television career with the travel show ‘Channel 4,’ ‘Around the World in 80 Trades.’ The four-part miniseries featured Conor traveling around many countries, using the same trade model he described in his book ‘The Adventure Capitalist.’

Likewise, he was offered to host a National Geographic television show named ‘Scam City’ in 2012. The show exposed the dark side of the tourism industry. He hosted the show until 2014 and won several awards and acknowledgments for his work. The show has received nominations for the ‘Canadian Screen Award’ and the ‘UK Broadcast Digital Award.’ He featured on a series named ‘ Hunting the Doorstep Conmen ‘ for ‘ ITV ‘ as a host in 2013.

Whereas, he also appeared on ‘ITV the same year, hosting a series called ‘Exposure: Britain’s Booming Cannabis Business.’ As the title suggests, Conor was traveling across the UK to reveal the booming illegal cannabis business. Likewise, he featured in three episodes of ‘ BBC1’s popular show ‘ Watchdog ‘ in 2015. The series deals with British consumer affairs. Conor worked as a host in an eight-part series called ‘ Hunting Nazi Treasure ‘ in 2017. The series broadcast on ‘ History Channel Canada ‘ and was a great success.

Therefore, after his background in real journalism and television production, he directed his own feature documentary film True Appaloosa. A man named Scott Engstrom, a horse breeder, and Appaloosa horses specialist, traveled through Kyrgyzstan to find an Appaloosa horse was guided by the documentary. A 60-minute version of the documentary ‘ True Appaloosa ‘ was broadcast on ‘ BBC ‘ in 2015 and received huge criticism. The project also made its premiere at the ‘Idaho Film Festival’.

Whereas, Conor also made a short story film named Jester, which was screened at the 2015 Los Angeles Sunscreen West Film Festival. ‘ Radio shows like ‘ Costing the Earth ‘ and ‘ From Our Own Correspondent ‘ were also connected with Conor. He has performed as an actor in the ‘ Nefarious ‘ road movie and in the ‘ Dalziel and Pascoe show.
