Initially, Cleopatra Coleman started her career in her home country of Australia. She did so at the young age of 15 years. Then in the year 2005, she appeared as a lead in the sci-fi teenage drama Silversun for ABC, an Australian TV channel, as well as for Seven Network.

In the year 2006, Cleopatra Coleman featured as the character Glenn Forrest in the long running Australian soap opera Neighbours. She then went on to appear in other Australian television programs. These include Blue Heelers, Holly’s Heroes, Wicked Science, City Homicide, and Rush.

In the year 2016, Cleopatra Coleman guest-starred in Better Things. It is a critically acclaimed series. A year later, she wrote, produced, as well as starred in the environmental sci-fi thriller Hover for Syfy Films.
