Regarding his academic career, he studied at Felix Varela High School where he joined the school’s drama society. During his school days, he used to play football and wrestle. He loves the comedy genre and used to participate in stage productions at the Roxy Performing Arts Center.
During the same time, Jenner became a member of “Impromedy”, a sketch comedy group located in Miami. After completing his graduation, he went to Los Angeles to pursue his career in acting. He used to work as a waiter and salesman during the period, also auditioning for his acting roles.

Regarding his professional career, Blake Jenner began his acting career by playing the role of Connor in the 2010 short film “Fresh 2 Death.” In the year 2011, he appeared in the short film called “Wurlitzer”, and also worked as a producer.
Later, he appeared in several short films such as “The Truth in Being Right” (2012), and “Love at First Site” (2014). He made his guest appearances as Miller Collins on ABC Family’s sitcom, “Melissa & Joey” (2012).
Following that, he won the second season of the television reality show, “The Glee Project” in 2012, and was guaranteed seven episode-arc on the following season of “Glee.” In addition, he won the “Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Star” after he appeared as Ryder Lynn on the fourth season of “Glee.”

Afterward, he also wrote the screenplay for “Billy Boy” in 2013 and then he appeared in a horror film, “Within” (2016). He landed on the 2016 series “Supergirl” opposite his ex-wife, Melissa Benoist as Adam Foster. Moreover, he played Jake Bradford in Richard Linklater’s comedy film, “Everybody Wants Some!!” on March 30, 2016.
Jenner was cast in the film, “The Vanishing of Sidney Hall” which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. That same year, he starred in the drama film “Billy Boy” and also worked as a writer and producer.
Recent Works
Later, the actor was cast in Bart Layton’s crime drama film, “American Animals” which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. During the same year, he portrayed the role of Christian de Neuvillette in the Goodspeed Musicals production Cyrano at the Norma Terris Theatre. In the 2019 Netflix thriller miniseries “What/If” he was the main cast and played the role of Sean.
Recently, he was cast as Ryan Swan in the 2022 American action film “Paradise City” directed by Chuck Russell. He has also lent his voice to the character of Howie Carter and Assistant GM in the video games NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20.

In 2013, he earned the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV: Breakout Star category. He earned the Rising Star Award in the 2017 San Diego Film Festival.
