Early Life
Archana Chandhoke was born on the 2nd of July 1982, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is 40 years old as of 2022 and holds Indian nationality. Similarly, she has a birth sign of Cancer and follows Hinduism religion.
She is the daughter of Rakesh Lal (father) and Nirmala Lal (mother). Professionally, her mother works at the Indian Overseas Bank while her father is a businessman. Sadly, she lost her father when she was too small.
As a kid, she wanted to become a PT teacher. She grew up with her sister whose name is Anita Chandhoke who is a Nirvana Fitness instructor, and Zumba fitness instructor, and works at Frost & Sullivan.

In 1999, Archana Chandhoke began her career as a newscaster in Jaya TV’s English News before completing her graduation. Later, she went to Sun TV and began hosting the shows Comedy Time and Ilamai Pudhumai. Due to family reasons, she left Sun TV in May 2007. She took a one-year break and joined Star Vijay in 2008.
There, she hosted Namma Veetu Kalyanam till 2014. Moreover, in September 2015, she was approached by Zee Tamil to do the show, Athirshta Lakshmi. Archana also worked as a judge of the comedy show Junior Super Star along with K. Bhagyaraj and Khushbu.
She enters as a wildcard contestant in the ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 4’ in 2020. Due to her behavior on the show, she was criticized by audiences.
After that, she again joined the Star Vijay and started hosting several reality shows and also various special episodes like Kadhale Kadhale, Old is Gold Black and White, Parivattam, Namma veetu kalyanam Snehan and Kanikka Special, Singappene, Namma veetu thiruvizha, Samsaram athu Minsaram, Sabash Sariyana Potti, Pattikada Pattanama, Thai illamal Naanillai and Udanpirappe(Paasa Malargal).

Movies
Besides hosting and television, she also has worked as an actress in Tamil-language movies, usually playing comedy roles. In the 2015 movie En Vazhi Thani Vazhi, she first appeared in the movie which was produced by businessman R. K.
Again, in R.K.’s next film, Vaigai Express (2017), she was again cast in another small role. Following that, she appeared in movies such as Yenda Thalaiyila Yenna Vekkala (2018), and Doctor (2021).

As a television celebrity and actress, she has won several awards during her professional career. At the 2018 Zee Family Awards, she earned the award for Favorite Anchor and again earned the same award in 2019.
In 2019, she earned the Galatta Nakshatra Award for Sensational Anchor, and the same year, she earned the Anandha Vikatan Award for Best Anchor. Later, she won the 2020 BlackSheep Digital Award for Star Family Entertainer For Wow Life (Along with Zaara Vineet & Anita Chandhoke).
She also won the Behindwood Gold Medal Award for Best Anchor- Television, that same year. Recently in the 2022 Realistic Award, she earned the award for Inspiring Icon & Contribution To Media and the Streeeshakti Award for Best Anchor.
She also earned the 2022 Edison Award and JFW – Just For Women Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie, Doctor.
Relationship Status
On 6 May 2004, she married a businessman, Vineet Muthukrishnan in a private wedding ceremony in Chennai. With marriage, the couple has a daughter named Zaara Vineet. The family is currently living happily.
