Early Life and Childhood
Adnan Syed was born into the world in 1978 in Maryland, United States of America. As of 2021, he is 43 years old. His full name is Adnan Masud Syed. His father’s name is Syed Rahman and his mother’s name is Shamim Syed. He has sibling’s brothers named, Yusef Syed and Tanveer Syed. He follows the Muslim religion and belongs to a Multiracial ethnicity.
Talking about his education he graduated from Woodlawn high school. However, due to his crime, he could not continue his further study. He played football in high school and had good grades in high school.
Professional Life
He was still young when he was convicted of the crime. He was involved in a high-profile murder of his ex-girlfriend at the age of 17. When his girlfriend Hae Min Lee suddenly disappear while going to peak her six-year-old cousin in 1999. However, his first trial on December 12 1999 quickly ended as a mistrial. Later, on February 23, 2000, after two-hour jury deliberation, he was found guilty and sent to a life sentence. However, after handcuffs, he stated that “I’ll be alright …I have faith in the lord. I Didn’t kill her”. Moreover, he has asked for a new trial various times but was denied by the supreme court.

There are two books released on the case named “Confessions of a Serial Alibi” by Asia McClain Chapman and “The Search for Truth and Justice After Serial by Rabia Chaudry. Based on the Incident HBO released the Documentary name “The Case Against Adana Syed” on March 10, 2019.
