Professionally, A. J. McCarron is an American footballer. He plays as a quarterback and he is currently a free agent. During his college football career, McCarron became the only quarterback to win consecutive BCS National Championship Games. His victories were in the years 2011 and 2012.

Moreover, this footballer was selected in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL Draft. At the time, the Cincinnati Bengals drafted him. With the Bengals, McCarron spent four seasons as a backup.
